Samuel opened his eyes. He saw up at the ceiling of wood, painted white with some sort of pattern, maybe flowers. He sat up looking around with heavy eyes, Fanny was still asleep. The sun had already started to rise and the sunbeams sheen through the cracks of the boarded windows. There was no meaning to stay in bed as the sun shone in his face. He got up went over to the window and peered out through the cracks. It was a beautiful winter day, and the snow sparkled in the sun. He let his glance follow the vertical cross-street, it was narrow and partially dim. He caught himself starting to freeze and he went back from the window. It wasn´t much to do in the room and Samuel restless as he was had no intension to wait until Fanny would awake. Instead he went over to the door and out in the corridor. It was empty, their three saviour seemed to be ”living” elsewhere. He walked through the gloomy corridor, going past the room they had spent the evening

She screamed. She had bean caught. The giantess soldier had caught her. She would be eaten. There where no doubt. Fanny was terrified, screaming for help on an empty street, wiggling and trying to get free when she still was close to the ground.
A hand moved over her mouth, quieting her screams as she was pulled into an dark alley, behind some hanging curtains. She felt something hairy to her cheek. The unexpected feeling made her yelp. ”What is that hairy thing?”
Quiet little lady, a dark heavily dialectal male voice whispered in her ear. She was lifted ones more and turned facing the alley, it was pitch dark as someone had hung up cloth, effectively making it impossible to see down in the alley form above. A kerosene lamp was lighted and the light spread in the darkness. Fanny saw a young women, dressed in a grey frieze trench coat over a dark blue tunic, on her head she had a blue peaked cap. Beside her a young man in the same outfit stoo

It had began to snow again. The freezing wind blew across the northern plains of Sunamuh. Sunamuh was a frozen planet most of the year, with a long cold winter and a short but intensive summer. Because of the whetter the northern and southern parts of the planet was a giant tundra, rich on minerals but worthless for farming. The area around the equator was more temperate, like central and northern Europe and even in some places like the mediterranean. In this area large forest grew and the land was more suitable for farming. The planet was divided in tow large continents, one in the north and one in the south and between them a small sea. The planet was not only a colony rich on minerals, it was also the last line of defence before Earth. A fortress connected to the largest city on the planet Sunamuh city. To reach Earth one most first take the fort and its control over the force field blocking undefined ships from reaching Earth.

3 months later.......
Fanny woke up with a start. She looked around her, all wet with sweat. She breathed heavily ”It was only a bad dream.”
She had caramel brown hair and light green eyes and was dressed in some sort of a dress, a blue one. She began to calm down and looked at the opposite side of the bead were her brother Samuel slept. He wasn't there. It took awhile for Fanny to react to the fact that her brother was gone. She got up from the bead, an got dressed. The wooden floor creaked as she walked upon it. She walked over to the basement and looked down, he was not there either. She began to worry. ”were may he be”. She stood up and began to walk across the small empty room. She looked through the window. The cold from outside grew upon her as she stood there. Were the he*** could he be? She had never bean left alone, not after ”that day”. Suddenly the door opened and through it came Samuel. He to had caramel b

Evric had zipped his jacket almost all the way up, leaving a small gap so that he could hold Ellie against his chest, the flaps of the jacket and his hand covering her from the drenching rain.
Ellie’s heart was pounding in rhythm with Evric’s gargantuan footsteps, yet she felt safe and warm in his grasp for once. Yes, the wind was still tossing her reddish-brown hair into her face, but every other part of her was covered.
Tired of having to squint, Ellie faced the wall of warm blue shirt fabric. She let her knuckles go white as they grabbed at it, and then she burrowed hard against what she briefly forgot was Evric. That was, until she felt his larger-than-life heart softly pummeling against her, shaking her to the core but also calming her.
His fingers curled firmly but tenderly around her, allowing her to relax without the worry that she might fall. She was comfortably curled up, leaning against the taren’s warm body, but at the same time she was anxious.

It wasn’t until the bell of a massive glass door rang out that Ellie snapped out of her thoughts. She grew very aware of the skin of a stranger pressing against her own sleeveless arms, so she teetered forward, hoping to get away from it as much as possible. Then again, she was sitting in someone’s hand. He was touching her, whether either of them liked it or not. Taking a deep breath, Ellie ignored her thundering heart and raised her voice.
“Could you maybe...like...put me down?” Shaking violently, the girl managed to balance herself on her knees, grabbing for the giant thumb that hung near her like the bar that fastens one in to a roller coaster car. The first thing she noticed as her air-condition-chilled arms wrapped around the appendage was how very warm it was. Curious, her fingers began to explore the small area they spanned across, feeling the lines and curves and smooth and rough grooves of a colossal fingerprint.
Evric was certainly aware of the

Music: If you know what you’re doing, it’s a wonderful, relaxing outlet. You can learn how to express your feelings through music, move thousands of people at once, serenade a pretty girl, challenge an opposing band – the possibilities are endless.
“Who wrote this? Shakespeare?”
Evric laughed the comment off, but behind the mask he was embarrassed. He didn’t consider himself a great writer, but he’d spent a lot of time working on the flyers for the afterschool club that he and his best friend David were in charge of.
“Yeah. You’ll never guess how long it took to summon him across time and space to write that for me,” he flashed a grin at his younger cousin, Janie.
She tossed a red strand of hair behind her shoulder, giggling as she looked at the senior guy sitting across the table. She knew that he loved anything artistic, whether it be writing, music, acting, painting – the whole package.

No world is perfect. Not even a world where giants and humans coexist. There’s still bullying, belittling, bankruptcy, business frauds, lying, cheating, stealing, killing; everything that I imagine a sin-ridden world would have. We’re lucky though, because here on Tare, our blemished, beautiful planet, there are laws that punish those who do wrong. We’re fortunate, because for every criminal, there are at least three law enforcers. We’re blessed, because it’s not often that we humans are terribly endangered by the giants that surround us. In fact, we’re more of a plague to them than they are to us.
Let me explain myself.
My name is Ellie Parker, and I am a descendant of one of the one thousand humans who were sent to live on this planet after earth was so brimming with war and hatred that no one could live in safety. Of course, that was almost four hundred years ago. While we do have the knowledge of space travel at hand, our civilization is on
